Accolades & Awards

Sauvignon Blanc - 2022

92 Points “Outstanding” MaryAnn Worobiec Wine Spectator review August 2023:

“This vibrant white offers a laser beam of passion fruit, lime and pomelo flavours that are accented by aromatic details of lemongrass and lemon verbena, plus a hint of listea oil, with grilled lemon and floral details on a fresh, juicy frame.”

93 Points “Excellent” Cam Douglas MS - December 2022 review:

“Pungent and fruity with aromas of fresh grapefruit and tropical fruit scents, there’s a fine lees quality adding complexity with a steely herbaceous quality and youthful energy. A satin touch gives way quickly to a back bone of acidity then flavours of fresh white fleshed and tropical fruits. The herbaceous quality volume goes up and down with each new taste. Balanced and well made, with a drinking window through to 2026.”

Sauvignon Blanc – 2021

90 Points “Outstanding” MaryAnn Worobiec Wine Spectator review:

“Bright and expressive, with fresh tropical flavours.”

93 Points “Excellent” Cam Douglas MS - December 2021 review:

“Pungent, vibrant, fresh, youthful, and very fruity bouquet. Classic too with aromas of fresh green herbs of basil and sage then red apple, pineapple, green mango, and white peach. On the palate - equally vibrant with flavours that mirror the nose plus jalapeno. High acidity adds spice and lift, freshness, and length. Overall, a lovely wine that is both classic, new, lively, and lengthy. Best drinking upon purchase and through 2024+.”

90 Points James Suckling 4.0 stars

“This has super-fresh lemon and lime aromas and flavors with passion fruit threaded into the mix too. The tension and punch here is impressive.”

Sauvignon Blanc – 2019

91 Points “Outstanding” MaryAnn Worobiec Wine Spectator review:

“Peach, meyer lemon and poached pear flavors show plenty of intensity, but also a sense of polish, with a touch of freshly grated ginger and a hint of saline that lingers on the refreshing finish, adding savoury detail”

91 Points “Outstanding” James Suckling

Vinopointer.com USA review:

“I’ve come to be pretty adept at what Sauvignon Blanc from NZ is typically like. But this one is different. In place of wines that are very tart, very acidic and sharp (all good things in my book) this ones a little softer, a little rounder and a little bit more… elegant.”

92 Points “Outstanding” MaryAnn Worobiec Wine Spectator review March 2019:

"This white mixes power with elegance, delivering generous lemon meringue, orange blossom, peach and dried mango notes, with spice, green tea and floral details swirling about on the long, expressive finish. Drink now."

92 Points Rich Cook review January 2019

“A well balanced Sauvignon Blanc, one that gathers the best elements of Marlborough and presents them like a fine string quartet, with the citrus, gooseberry, herb and wet stone all complementing each other from introduction to coda.  Oysters all around!  A Platinum Award winner at the 2019 Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition”
